Classic Cars and Paint Protection Film in the Ventura County

Ventura County and Los Angeles have always been synonymous with the car scene. Whether its an import tuner, supercars or classics and Hot Rods it’s easy to say we love our cars!

As people nowadays are really putting a lot of money and time into building these beautiful masterpieces, it’s becoming more common to wrap them in Paint Protection Film!

American Wrap Company and Classic Cars

We were recently honored to wrap a few beautiful classics back to back for some of our vendors! We always take great pride in wrapping these works of art because we are the last step in the long build process before the vehicle hits the open road! This type of paint protection wrap work is not for the faint of heart and not every wrapper out there is even capable of the skill required to get these done! With our 11 years of experience, it is no big deal for us! Every piece of film is hand-laid and hand-cut with surgical type precision! A lot of planning, measuring and problem-solving is involved to get these jobs done correctly and to the degree of perfection, our company is founded on!

Wrapping a 1928 Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 SS

The first car we had the pleasure of wrapping just took 2nd place in the Concourse de Elegance at the 2018 Pebble Beach car show! It is a 1928 Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 SS. This car is very very special and has a lot of history behind it! The car is now owned by the great-grandson of the original family that built the car in 1928! This exact car is also the only 6C that was ever built by the Atcherley family in 1928! It’s also one of ten that was supercharged from production! It literally doesn’t get rarer than this! With an estimated current value in the two million dollar range, it is gorgeous! We wrapped every square inch in XPEL Ultimate Plus paint protection film! The owner then took the car and raced the 2018 Colorado Grand Rally! 1500 miles in 1928 comfort with a top speed estimated at 80MPH!

Wrapping a 1968 Chevy Camaro

The second beauty we recently had the pleasure of wrapping in XPEL paint protection film was a beautifully restored 1968 Chevy Camaro! This beauty was painted with a BMW blue for a very sharp look! its sporting Recaro seats inside, custom gauges, custom door panels and dash, shaved door handles, a nasty 383 stroker SBC and custom real 3 piece wheels! We were also extremely excited when we say it had a push-button starter! That is not something you see in a hot rod very often! Again we had the honor of wrapping every square inch of the exterior in XPEL Ultimate Plus paint protection film! The owner plans to drive it all around southern California and to local track events!

In conclusion, don’t ever think your car isn’t qualified for paint protection film! No matter how old or how new we can get it done! If the paint is pristine let us wrap it with XPEL ultimate plus in thousand oaks California and it will stay sharp for years to come!!
