American Wrap Company founder and owner, Tyler O’Hara, lives and breathes vehicle wraps. Tracing his interest in cars to an extremely young age, O’Hara dreamt about working on cars since he was in elementary school. While it’s safe to say most kids don’t get to live out their childhood dreams in their everyday adult lives, O’Hara proves the exception—and he’s got the accolades to prove it.

Most recently, O’Hara came in first place in the 2022 XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS Paint Protection Film Installation (one of his employees, Matt Collins, took 2nd).
O’Hara credits his consideration as one of the top auto wrap and paint protection specialists in the world to his blue-collar upbringing in Thousand Oaks, CA. His family imbued him with values such as respect, honesty, integrity, kindness, and compassion for all people, and he lives those values daily. The team at American Wrap Company functions more as a family than a strict employer-and-employees setup, and this is driven by the business ethics O’Hara has been living and upholding since he first began working in the industry in 2008 at age 18.
O’Hara hones a passion always for cars, trucks, motorcycles, and anything fast! It’s safe to say that he not only loves what he does, but also that he has a passion for working with the most cutting-edge material in the industry—providing that protection to vehicles ranging anywhere from Fords to Bugattis in his shop’s exquisitely-outfitted bays.
O’Hara enjoys an escape from the city with his dogs anytime he feels the need for a recharge. Camping, fishing, surfing, dirt biking, and just about anything else outdoors and away from urban areas are all activities where he finds rest and peace. O’Hara manages to find balance in all areas of his life by living it to the fullest.
