American Wrap Co LLC was formed in 2018 by Tyler O’Hara, an award-winning 14-year industry veteran, who self-funded his dream after almost leaving the trade. With the faith and support of his family, Tyler used his disciplined work ethic and passion for high-caliber execution to create a world-class company. His focus on delivering the highest quality available has given our company a mission to produce the world’s best installers in the paint protection film industry.

Our work is completed in temperature-controlled install bays in our 2200 square foot facility by an OCD team of professionals that won’t be happy with your install until perfection is achieved. We work on any type of car, from Honda Civics to Bugattis 6, and meet or BEAT anyone’s prices, while delivering a far superior job. Our team of professionals includes the multi-awarded, gold medalist, PPF champion and industry leader Tyler O’Hara—owner and operator, Matt—Lead Installer, and Pablo—Lead detailer/apprentice PPF installer. We know that pouring our hearts into every job is the only way to achieve the immaculate results our customers deserve. Our team members fully invest themselves into every project. Tyler, our founder, and lead trainer is committed to your satisfaction and personally performs a quality control inspection on every car that leaves the shop.

Our Team
Pablo Diaz
I was born and raised in Oxnard California. Cars have always been my passion as far back as I can remember. My dream car is a 991 Porsche GT3RS. On my off time, I enjoy working on my BMW cars, racing on the track, and spending time with my girlfriend and two cats.
Tyler O’Hara
Ever since I was a young boy in elementary school I have dreamt of working on cars. My mom still has a folder of sketches that were taken away from me because I was drawing cars during class. I have always had a deep passion for cars, trucks, motorcycles and any thing fast! When I’m not working I love to escape from the city with my dogs and go camping, fishing, surfing, dirt biking and anything else outdoors and away from the city! I was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California and have lived in Ventura County most of my life. I was raised by a middle class blue collar family and was taught to have strong values. I have a very high level of respect, honesty, integrity, kindness, and compassion to all people.
Matthew Collins
I was born in Thousand Oaks, CA and have lived here most of my life and have been installing PPF since 2012 with Tyler. In 2017 my family relocated to Boise, Idaho. I worked hard and was able to buy my own house there. Now I travel back and forth from Idaho to California to work with Tyler at American Wrap Company. When I’m not working I love everything outdoors!
Stacey O’Hara
I am Stacey O’Hara, Office Manager, and Professional Paper Shuffler. I am a Native Californian and have lived in Thousand Oaks since I was 7 years old.
If you caught the same last name that Tyler and I share, that’s because he is my son. Tyler was told by me while growing up “One day when you own your business, I will come work for you and run the office.”
I feel very privileged and proud to be a team member at American Wrap Co. Working in this company is very awesome. Every day is filled with meeting the nicest car owners and seeing the most amazing cars.
When I am not at American Wrap Co., I am with my horses. I raise, train, show, and compete with my two Quarter Horses. I travel extensively competing and showing.
Johnny Golson
I am also a Native Californian, born and raised in Fillmore California. I have been blessed by working here at American Wrap Co. I have learned the secrets for installing the best wraps that we are famous for. I enjoy learning new techniques and developing my talent for PPF installs.
When I am not working, I like family time, golfing, and dancing.
Dobby
My name is Dobby.
I am the team mascot and business cutie. I greet the customers and trot about supervising the shop. I enjoy chasing lizards and snuggling on laps for nap time.
