Our paint protection film is virtually invisible thanks to the XPEL’s high performance, self-adhesive, clear-coated aliphatic polyurethane technology and our superior installation techniques. XPEL’s protective layer is a very low surface energy film designed to resist staining and offers superior environmental resistance and gloss retention. The clear coat employs special elastomeric polymers that allow scratches on the surface to “heal” over time, eliminating the need for frequent polishing to maintain a just installed appearance.

For the Tesla, we recommend the Level 3-grade paint protection film. This package includes the protection film for the black center console. It will help keep this high gloss surface fingerprint and dirt free. XPEL’s high performance acrylic adhesive is formulated to resist delamination, will not damage paint or leave behind residue upon removal post installation.

Our Level 4, full body wrap package offers even more protection for your Tesla. In addition to wrapping the entire body of the car, it also includes the bottom of the door sills. What Paint Protection Film Level should I get for my Tesla?

Our most popular package on a Tesla is by far the Level 3 and on Model 3’s we always include PPF for the gloss black center console, as well. This was such a popular area to cover that we now include it standard with all Model 3’s that get a Level 3 PPF and up.

On Full Body Wrap (Level 4) packages we always wrap the door sills to ensure people’s feet don’t scratch them.

Another very common combo is a level 3 full front and then ceramic coating the back half of the car. But ultimately wrapping the whole car in PPF is the best long term prevention to paint damage.

What else can I do to customize my Tesla?

Because there isn’t much you can do to a Tesla in the realm of bolt on engine mods a lot of people turn to aesthetic modifications. These can include chrome deletes and racing stripes. Chrome deletes are a very tedious slow process and some times require certain parts be painted. But in the end the customer gets a very cool unique look.

Vinyl wrapping the wood dash of Model 3’s is super cool and makes it look a lot sportier.

There’s also powder coating wheels, and window tint.

What about this Ceramic coating? How does that help?

Ceramic coating over the film on Level 4 full body wraps makes the film very hydrophobic thus making it easier to wash and dry the car.

Do Teslas Have Non-Stick Paint?

The only way to achieve a surface on any manufacturer’s paint that sheds dirt during washes is through the installation of ceramic coating. From there, regular maintenance with the use of proper products will increase the lifespan of your coating and keep your Tesla looking good as new.

On July 3, 18, I picked up my Tesla Model 3, super excited and could t wait to get 3M window tint, 19” tires and new rims and full PPF wrap completed on the car.
